New Chairman of The Invergowrie Foundation

The Foundation is pleased to introduce Wendy Lewis as its Chairman. In November 2014, Wendy succeeded Carolyn Anderson who stepped down from the role after four years of dedicated service and most able leadership.

Wendy has been involved with the Invergowrie Foundation for 18 years, commencing as a member of the Investment and Finance Committee in 1996. She was appointed to the Invergowrie Council in 2005 and has been the Treasurer and Chair of the Investment and Finance Committee since 2008.

Over the last 35 years Wendy has worked in a variety of areas including manufacturing, accounting services, independent schools and tertiary colleges. She has qualifications in accountancy, education, and Philanthropy and Non Profit Studies, as well as holding an MBA. In mid-April, Wendy moved from Girl Guides Victoria where she was CEO for more than 10 years, to the Collier Charitable Fund to take up the position of Executive Officer and Fund Secretary.
